Liquid Security Inspector
NUCTECH™ RT1003EB
The NUCTECH™ RT1003EB Liquid Security Inspector that can analyze most dangerous materials in most types of container and identifies the threat material. The RT1003EB uses Raman spectrum technology and identifies material at the molecular level. The inspection process is simple, rapid (a few seconds) and the False Alarm Rate is very low. Since there are some containers (such as metal) and some dark materials that cannot be analysed using Raman, the RT1003EB includes technology to measure the sample density as an alternative method for these items.
RT1003EB employs a two sided door to enclose the laser beam sampling area whilst providing easy access from either side. This means it can be used between two security inspection channels, improving efficiency by minimising the distance the Security Staff have to move to insert containers and assess the results. These characteristics make the RT1003EB very efficient in airports for the security inspection of Liquids, Aerosols and Gels (LAGs) in all types of containers.
