Exciting news! Air Cargo Europe is here, and we are thrilled to announce that Guramen Basra, Sales Director at Scan-X Security Limited, is attending the event in Munich.

Guramen Basra will be meeting with executives from major air cargo regulated agents to discuss how Scan-X Security has been delivering large tunnel X-ray machines and ETD explosive trace equipment to the air cargo market in the UK. He will also be meeting with key stakeholders in airline catering to showcase how the brand new machines from Nuctech are revolutionizing the screening of aviation carts and cages using dual-view technology.

Scan-X completes another install at a high profile clients premises.
Our team of highly skilled engineers installed a CX6040D C1 approved x-ray machine with an automated conveyor system. This was accompanied by a Ceia aviation approved Walk through metal detector, Liquid scanner and two explosive trace detectors.

Scan-X Security are able to provide advanced threat detection training on x-ray machines and metal detection archways by our DfT approved trainer. This training builds on the basic operator training which is included as a matter of course by Scan-X Security upon the installation of our security screening equipment. We can also provide this training on equipment that we did not originally provide. Training is done face to face and involves highly realistic sample fake threat items. Its tailored to each individual client’s specific threat environment, for example a postroom or hand baggage screening environment. Sample items include weapons including guns, knives and other types of weapons. Narcotics and explosives can also be included with realistic looking devices, powders and liquids.

Scan-X have completed another successful x-ray machine installation in the freight and logistics sector of a CX180180DH cargo machine. The customer was looking for an upgrade on their current machine and the Nuctech CX180180DH not only has nearly double the tunnel size but the image quality is far superior. Scan-X have a range of dual view x-ray machines with excellent image quality to offer our freight and logistics clients, all fully supported by a range of service contracts.

Scan-X are proud to support the UK sports sector with our physical security equipment. Our x-ray machines and archway metal detectors have once again been used to protect a major 2022 UK sports event, this particular event being one that we have supported for several years now. Scan-X make life easy for our clients by also providing the additional items they may need – such as wands, trays and roller tables – to fully equip each of their visitor screening lanes.
